Shipping Information and FAQs


Just as no two kids are the same, The Present Factory understands our customers have differing shipping needs. We can offer different shipping options to get your gift box delivered safely to its special recipient.

Left your present buying to the last minute We have you covered with our flat rate $25 Express Delivery - all orders placed by 11am AEST will be Express Posted the same day. (Estimated delivery timeframe 1-3 business days)

A little more organised?  Great! We offer standard flat rate shipping on all of our boxes, Australia-wide for $15. (Estimated delivery timeframe 3-8 business days)

The Present Factory uses third party delivery services, such as Australia Post ans Star Track Express. This means delivery times are subject to those third party services, and are beyond our control. We cannot guarantee anything when it comes to delivery as all delivery timeframes are estimates only. The Present Factory is not liable for any loss, expense, or other damage caused by any delay in delivery.

 

FAQs

Can we send a parcel to a hospital? Yes, we can send parcels to hospitals, however they often have their own delivery protocols. It can take additional time from delivery by the courier for it to be taken to the recipient directly. We recommend only sending to a hospital if your recipient will be there for an extended period of time (eg. longer than a week). We also suggest calling the hospital beforehand to check they accept packages and for more information on the exact address to send it. As a start, we recommend providing us the recipient's name, ward and room number (not just the name and address of the hospital). But again, please check with the hospital first.

Can we send a parcel to a PO Box? No, unfortunately not. Because we use third party couriers parcels cannot be delivered to a PO Box address; we can only send to a physical residential or business address.

Can I get same day delivery? Unfortunately, no. Same day delivery can incur costs in the hundreds of dollars, and as such we do not offer this option. If you place an order before 11am AEST, your parcel will be sent that day and may be delivered the following day, however this is not a guarantee and is subject to our couriers' timeframes.

Do you deliver on weekends and public holidays? Unfortunately, courier services do not deliver on weekends or public holidays. Occasionally the couriers may extend their standard delivery hours, but this is at the courier’s discretion during peak periods, and we cannot request this.

Can you guarantee my parcel will arrive by a certain date? No, unfortunately we cannot guarantee anything when it comes to delivery. All delivery timeframes are estimates only and totally dependent upon our couriers' services.

Can I send a parcel internationally? Yes, we will happily send parcels internationally. However, this will be at an extra cost dependent on our couriers' shipping rates. Please contact us before placing an order for a cost estimate and we will work it out with you.

What if I send a parcel to the wrong address? Once your parcel has been packed and booked, we are unable to amend the address on our end. All requests to amend or change the delivery address are sent to our booking agent to action, and this incurs a redirection fee of $54.95, which you will be responsible for paying; please be careful when entering addresses! Delivery timeframes will be impacted if any changes to an address is made. Please allow for an additional transit time, most successful redirections are actioned in 24-48 hours, however this timeframe can be longer, especially during busy times.
